I read this post on the omega-list today: "Dtn is going to change formats in Jan. which will render ts 2000i useless unless new code is written or a pass through is available that will work." Any truth to the statement? How will the change affect those of us with dynastore for iqfeed and ts 4 or 2000i? thanks! tony

please see http://www.iqfeed.net/symbolguide/index.cfm?symbolguide=lookup&displayaction=support§ion=guide&web=iqfeed&alpha=1&start=1 (use "e-mini russell 2000" for the search) and revise this wrong info which still lists @ERZ8 and @ERH9 as valid CME symbols.

on servers 148.110 and 112 when i try to d/l historical tick and daily data today (DS/Iqfeed). other e-mini's of the same expiry d/l data just fine.

well, it's now 5:10pm central, globex has been open for 10 minutes, still no ticks, and my symbol portfolio is only advised on less than half the symbols (8/20) and the rest are listed as "not found." what's going on guys? currently on server 66.112.148.224, running DS with IQ client 4.4.0.3. ok, iqfeed is feeding these symbols now. but data transmission has been off and on throughout the day, so we'll see. also, please fill the data holes asap that the transmission errors have created today. thanks.

iqfeed for these symbols is still off as of 4:22p eastern. several other datafeeds that i use apparently do not have this problem and have fed the correct data throughout the day.

i quote from your iqfeed website: "8 calendar days of tick (every regular session trade) " NOT TRUE!!! i'm only getting 4 days of tick data now, but only if i download it on fri, 3 days on sat, and only 2 days on sun. either deliver the tick data as promised or change the frigging website and quit lying about what is promised verses what is actually delivered. i'm paying the 8 calendar days of tick data, so figure out a way to deliver it or cut your prices to reflect the new reality (highly unlikely). i used to be able to refresh the prior weeks worth of tick data on all my symbols on sunday. not any more. i've put up with this crap to give you a break with the increased surge of ticks, but if your servers can't handle the extra load, then i'm out of here.

as of noon today 1/15, the data has not been repaired on the 148 farm. i downloaded the tick data for 1/14 and the spike is still there. when do you anticipate that it will be fixed?

i checked the 148 server farm again and the @QMxx symbols listed above now advise in the DS client (but the descriptions are blank and grayed out in the DS portfolio editor), except the symbol QUXZ7 (still "not found" in the DS port. ed description). 156 farm is ok on all symbols.

i'm running Dynastore for Iqfeed and Iqfeed client 4.2.1.4. when i tried to advise the symbols when logged into the x.x.148.x server farm this afternoon, all the symbols advised except ones that had "Q" in their name, ie, @QMV7, @QMX7, @QMZ7, @QMF8, and QUXZ7. however, when i forced a login to the x.x.156.x server farm, my entire portfolio advised including the "Q" symbols. you might want to check out the 148 farm regarding this symbol weirdness. tony

is there a problem with the dtn servers? i'm logged on server 148.221 with Dynastore-Iqfeed and i have not received a single tick as of 5:23PM central time. the cme website indicates no problems on their end. tony

it worked fine last weekend, however, i can't seem to d/l more than 2 days worth of tick history for any symbol today on either of the 148 or 156 server farms. i should be able to d/l up 7 days worth of tick data using the DS history downloader. i can get up to 90 days of daily data on all symbols just fine using the same downloader. tony

hey sarah, yeah, i upgraded to 4.2.1.4 on friday (before the markets closed) when i heard about the server switch next monday. the only problem i had was getting all the symbols advised in the dynastore portfolio...i just had to adjust the pause between rt symbols advise to 100ms. so far, everything looks good! tony

hey jay and co...just saw this on the omega list...any truth to it? i've used the 2.272 iqfeed client with dynastore and ts4 for years and had few problems. i can connect to the 66.112.148 and 66.112.156 server farms just fine. do i need to worry about an upcoming change? tony posted today on the omega list: DTN are stopping to support old versions of IQConnect. The are going to turn off old servers in a couple of days.
