Hello,

As a prospective customer of IQfeed, I would like to know the latency of the product.
How fast is the feed?
Regarding the DDE to feed Excel,
Which is the rate of updates? 200ms? 100ms? 50ms? Or less?

Thank you

Regards,
Pete

IQFeed doesn't inject any delays on purpose. Thus, there is no way to say that there is an update rate of (x). The data will be pumped into Excel as fast as you PC allows. Slower PC's may see more lag, especially if you are watching a large number of symbols.

For DDE, I would advise not exceeding 400-450 symbols depending on their activity. A couple of years ago I was able to receive 700-900 symbols via DDE but due to much higher tick/volume activity across the board, my computers can no longer process more than 400-450 symbols.
