"Everything is working amazing now. I'm already impressed with the true-tick feed of IQFeed and it's ability to support my 480 symbol layout." - Comment from Tyler via Email
"For anyone considering using DTN.IQ for a data feed, my experience with the quality of data and the tech support has been very positive." - Comment from Public Forum
"This beats the pants off CQG, I am definitely switching to the ProphetX 3.0!" - Comment from Stephen
"With HUGE volume on AAPL and RIMM for 2 days, everyone in a trading room was whining about freezes, crashes and lag with *******, RealTick, TS and Cyber. InvestorRT with IQFeed was rock solid. I mean SOLID!" - Comment from Public IRC Chat
"If you are serious about your trading I would not rely on IB data for serious daytrading. Took me a while to justify the cost of IQ Feed and in the end, it's just a 2 point stop on ES. Better safe than sorry" - Comment from Public Forum
"Boy, probably spent a thousand hours trying to get ******* API to work right. And now two hours to have something running with IQFeed. Hmmm, guess I was pretty stupid to fight rather than switch all this time. And have gotten more customer service from you guys already than total from them… in five years." - Comment from Jim
"I ran your IQFeed DDE vs. my broker vs. a level II window for some slow-moving options. I would see the level II quote change, then your feed update instantaneously. My broker's DDE, however, would take as much as 30 seconds to update. I am not chasing milliseconds, but half a minute is unacceptable." - Comment from Rob
"DTN feed was the only feed that consistently matched Bloomberg feed for BID/ASK data verification work these past years......DTN feed is a must for my supply & demand based trading using Cumulative Delta" - Comment from Public Forum Post
"I'm satisfied with IQFeed. It's the most reliable and fastest quote feed I have ever used. Although I'm a resident in China, it's still very fast!" - Comment from Xiaofei
"I've never had DTN go out on me since switching. ******* would go down a couple times every month when I was using them." - Comment from Bryce in AL.

Doh!
That absolutely accomplishes what I need. Why didn’t I think to try that? Thanks for the speedy reply!

Also, while on the subject, it could be helpful to provide a method to display data window at Top Left, Top Center, or Top Right.
Another helpful option within the datawindow display would be an option to display the current chart interval (Ti, 5,10,30, D, W, M).
...This would be handy when doing screen captures for later study; sometimes it 's not possible to include the small indicator in the right bottom corner of the screen that tells you what time interval is being displayed.
Ater setting interval and adjusting chart height, I sometimes try to make sure values are updated and current by clicking on Ticker Symbol in the attached quote sheet. This causes the horizontal and vertical settings revert to the default (compressed) view.
I know, this issue is reminiscent of that self-help course: "Bio-Feedback and How to Stop It" and the solution is: "John: Stop clicking in the quote window!" ....but I'm wondering if the customized scaling could be retained, even when toggling between contracts.
Running PX 3.0.2.8.
Am experiencing the previously reported split-pane issue also within scrolliing news displays; unable to set up new scrolling news index and link stories to split pane (below). Unlike the chart issue previously reported, I've not had success getting it to work by undocking the window. The only workaround I've found is to let story display in a second (linked) window--outside of the story index display.
I know this is being worked on; so I just wanted to alert someone to similar issue in News windows.
The behavior I'm describing causes a problem if the preference to create new displays as tabs has been set. Thank you.
You may not be observing what I'm reporting, since this is a bit tricky to describe; but I've confrimed again that whenever a new quote sheet is created as a tab inside a another (docked) quote sheet display window, the split-pane button is not enabled.
I don't think the pull down menu is an issue since it's the button I'm referring that is adjacent to the Pin in the lower left of the window that enables the split-pane feature. When the small grayed-out window cannot be depressed, any chart that is linked will be created in a seperate window, not in a split pane view.
Alternatively, if the same Tab is undocked (selecting "tab in new frame" option), the split-pane button becomes active and it is then possible to make the chart display within the same window. At that point, with both quote sheet and chart are held within a single display and the tab can be dragged back (docked) into the other window.
Not a big issue; but it may be worth investigating if what I'm describing can be observed in the lab.
Would like to be able to undo mistakes and reverse changes in ProphetX.
This is an important time-saving capability in all areas of the application; but is especially needed when accidentally selecting studies and accidentally moving trendlines. It would be nice to be able to simply step backwards (and forwards).... at least once!
A feature that might be useful, would be to add a User-Editable item as a selectable field in the "Data Window" property dialogue. This would allow Data Window to have customized Header (Static information would be fine) in addition to Symbol, Date, Charts, Functions, and Trendlines.
This would work better than trying to manage and locate anchored (or un-anchored) text within individual stacks.
PX 3.0.2.8: It seems that when creating new quote sheet while preference is selected to "place new displays in tabs", the split-pane feature (for linking chart) is not selectable. To get a split pane view, I had to create a new quote display in an undocked window before it was possible to select the "split the pane" button. Was then able to drag the tab into my main window.

It looks like the SPAN (time-frame) requested is quirky. Historical data for numerous markets is not displaying correctly. Probably not market specific; although the problem is slightly different with different contracts. Is it possible change was made and DDE-Links to Excel need to be re-copied after upgrading to TX 3.0.2.1? (That's the change I made since yesterday).
LBH6 (almost completely), WH6 (mostly High, Volume, and Open Interest), CU6 is spotty with ome Open prices missing, same with SMK6.
