A feature that might be useful, would be to add a User-Editable item as a selectable field in the "Data Window" property dialogue. This would allow Data Window to have customized Header (Static information would be fine) in addition to Symbol, Date, Charts, Functions, and Trendlines.
This would work better than trying to manage and locate anchored (or un-anchored) text within individual stacks.

Another helpful option within the datawindow display would be an option to display the current chart interval (Ti, 5,10,30, D, W, M).
...This would be handy when doing screen captures for later study; sometimes it 's not possible to include the small indicator in the right bottom corner of the screen that tells you what time interval is being displayed.

Also, while on the subject, it could be helpful to provide a method to display data window at Top Left, Top Center, or Top Right.

I would very much like to customize the data window.
Real Estate on the screen is precious. I would like to:
1) Control the font size within the Data Window. 2) You guys finally made the minus ('-') sign large enough for a 50 year old to read. How about allowing us to specify color for up and down, plus or minus data. 3) I right click to get Data Window Properties whcih askes me if I want the date and Symbol to show, which I do not, but the Symbot will not go away. 4) Much more than 2 choices for data order. What if I only want Last and change. If you put 4 or 5 charts on one page they get smaller and a line or 2 makes a difference in readability. 5) On some pages the first time I open them the data window is double wide with empty white space on the right. When I click on the window it reduces to its normal size. ??
P.S. Many of these suggestions go for the Chart Scales as well. More choices and more control (color, font size, interval spacing.

Thank you for your input - I will enter these in the enhancement queue Re: #1 - if you click on the font button in the data window properties, you can size the font to your specs. #3 To make the symbol go away uncheck Charts in the field selections in the properties dialog.

Thank you.
#1 It is fine. I actually was able to reduce the size below the 8-point choice that the drop-down box offers by typing in '6' . The Data window is one of the places where it is useful to be able to make info small since it is mostly a reference area.
3# You suggest "To make the symbol go away uncheck Charts in the field selections in the properties dialog."
If I understand your suggestion you meant the 'Data Window Properties' box accessed by right clicking the Data Window.
If 'Chart' is unchecled there ALL info disappears not JUST the SYMBOL. The presumption of my request was to reduce the Data Window by one essentially redundant line in every chart. However, if one wanted to remove the Data Window this does not do it because a completely useless box remains with the words 'Price Window' in it.
I am guessing that this box remains to provide a place for the user to go to where the data window can be modified. I suggest another way be found.
Again my emphasis here is on 'real estate' on the screen.

I note that I can change the font size and decimal place count on the Y-Axis by right clicking the scale and going to the 'Format' tab. That is great EXCEPT:
As soon as I change the chart by highlighting a different symbol on my quote sheet the font size remains as updated but the decimal count reverts unless I Save and Exit the program and open it up again.
It is very disconcerting, because it is tedious and wastes time, to have to do this every time the user needs to make a change in a chart temporarily during a session. I imagin, most users use their charts for more than one symbol and that most users find it necessary to change their charts' properties including interval, sizing, color, format periodically.
I do not have the time to check the properties for the X-axis now but similar issues pertain, particularly adjusted interval and spacing. (They should remain as adjusted during the current session without changing the Saved and Stored files so that when the program remains as stored without new adjustments unless the user affirmatively decides to make those changes permanent.)

Understood. And this would be a better solution if you could, indeed, specify only certain fields to display - but it is a viable solution for someone who may have trendlines or studies attached to the chart and only wants to view those....thus the suggestion. I have entered this as a request but 1 other work-around would be to just turn off the data window and use the pop-up that shows when you point to the individual data points - the most recent will reflect the same as the data window.
