You said "The bid and ask prices that are displayed at the time of an actual transaction are the bid and ask prices saved in historical data." If it is streaming real-time trades that you're looking at, then bid/ask are not saved in historical data, then how is the bid/ask obtained shown with the trade?

how do you determine how to associate a bid/ask with the trade given they're on separate feeds cqs vs cts, and trade reporting can be delayed?

Hi, I followed the instructions and connected to TWS with my account but I get an error: What does this mean? On lvl2 the market maker is MD(some #). Is that supposed to mean something given it's an exchange or is it random?

I don't seem to be getting any reliable historical tick data for AD#, there are gaps, day wise) all over the place. Can you see what is going on?

I'm having issues with my news categories. On June 9th, most of the categories disappeared, I only have 5 options under the sample news app. Previously there were a lot more. I've been told nothing has changed with my account.

Not sure if that is accurate. Using the conversion wizard, under project->properties->linker->general the output file is defined as $(outdir)$(projectname)_VC.exe. Whereas the projects themselves are without the VC. So I have to go and remove the _VC suffix on all the property pages to launch the executable. The other nuance is that one has to convert all of the projects to x64. I doubt anybody is still using win32 here?

I had initially requested daily historical data around 6pm est and was only getting data as of 1/14 but now it works for 1/18. Is there a time to be aware of when the close of business values are made available?
