Hello -
I installed the IQfeed client on a 64-bit Windows 11 pro system, version 21H2. All Windows updates are current.
IQfeed installs quickly and without any errors. I cannot see any obvious issues in the install log. But upon installation, I cannot start any of the IQ apps. The freestanding apps themselves won't pull up - no GUI. But I do see each app in the process table after double-clicking on each. It shows up in taskmgr, but no GUI. IQconnect.exe only shows up when you run diagnostics.exe and hit the 'test' button. Diagnostics stop at "register application' stage because the connection does not complete. IQconnect hangs at "received authorizations" stage. Logs show the server is reachable and it appears the creds are accepted.
Of course, calling IQfeed through a trading platform has the same result - does not connect.
There is no antivirus or other software running that could be stepping on anything. There are no issues with any other software, OS, drivers, broker or 3rd party data feed or trading platform on this machine. My DTN account is also fine because I can connect from another machine. Rebooted the system multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled IQfeed multiple times, including deleting registry keys in between to remove all traces. Any help would be appreciated.

If you start it from the command line, do you see any useful diagnostics?

Good question. I do not. Attempting to start any IQ app from the command line immediately returns the command prompt without any errors or warnings, but interestingly, the apps do not start, or at least I can't find any evidence that they do. I tried with several. They're not in the process table. This is distinctly different from simply double-clicking the apps inside Program Files\DTN\IQFeed in which case you get the Windows wait cursor (the blue circle) for a couple of seconds and then the app appears in the process table but there is no GUI and no way to interact with it.
