dde link is working but using =IQLink|'@ESM11'!last does not work is this the correct request for ES quote?

Hello Gridking, are you getting any errors after putting in that formula into your Excel spreadsheet? If so what is that error message? That is the correct symbol for the S&P mini June 2011 contract so it should populate within Excel.
