Hi,

I am new user to Iqlink, but I really like it. The DDE spreadsheet works OK but I would like to
be able to program the DDE interface myself. I have tried to use the ddeclientconversation
and ddeclientitem component but I am have some problems. I am using CBuilder 6.0. When I use the ide in design mode and set the ddeservice to 'iqlink' and ddetopic to 'intc' in the ddeclientconversation and then set the ddeclient->item property to 'prev vol', I get a reading in the ddeclient->text field. This indicates to me that the interface work. However when I try to set
the ddeclientconversation->ddetopic to some other stock symbol using code it refuses to change
from the "intc' symbol. I have tried to debug the program but I can't figure out why it won't change. Anybody have any ideas?, I use Windows 2000/SP4. I hope that helps.
