I am currently using IQFeed protocol 6.1. There use to be historical tick data from December 21, 2021 and older. But now, this historical tick data is no longer available. I am requesting HTT,AAPL,20211221 000000,20211222 000000,,,,1,, and I receive an IQFeed NO_DATA response. This is not just for AAPL, but for all symbols for data before December 21, 2021. Selecting a date in mid November yields the same result.

Could you please confirm this error behavior on your end?

During regular US trading hours (9:30-16:30 US Eastern time), only 8 days of ticks data is available. Outside trading hours you can receive up to 180 days of data.

I can confirm Yair is exactly correct.

You are limited to 8 calendar days of tick data between 9:30am - 4:30pm Eastern Time. Outside of those hours you can access 180 calendar days.
