Platform: Interactive Brokers/TWS with MultiCharts or NinjaTrader & DTN IQ
Symbol in question. EURGPB.FXCM and NZDUSD.FXCM
Questioned price. All of it
Quote type: chart data.
Affected date and time. All
Description of the problem.
- Data (including historical) appeared to become exceptionally sparse on Jan 4 2013 and has remained that way
- Up to that point chart data appeared normal (including historical) and matched IB feed
- Appears affected at all resolutions on tick- and time-based charts
- IB feed still fine indicates price is not actually behaving that way
- other IQ spot currencies (on charts) normal
- Chart image (should be) attached shows IQ data (top 2 charts) and IB data (bottom 2 charts)

Any illumination welcome

Hi Todd,

Data suddenly looks a heck of a lot better now...

Something you did?

BTW...should mention by way of coincidence the MC data repaired itself the moment I ran up NT along side MC and opened EURGBP and NZDUSD 15 minute charts in NT.

Suspect MC and NT don't like to share resources so am shutting NT down now.

When I checked the charts they looked fine, so some type of conflict with another running program makes sense.

...the point of the coincidence being perhaps running up NT somehow snapped MC &/or the IQFeed client out of some condition they were in, suggesting the issue might have had to do with MC, the local IQFeed client and/ormy configuration.

In any event all seems well here now.
