Support,

Question about DIND.Z. NYSE Issue Dollar Volume Down. Is this NYSE total points times Volume on issues that closed lower? If not what is it?

Regards,

Hello Jar,

DIND.Z is the volume of all NYSE stocks (in thousands) that is down from the previous day’s close multiplied by the stock price for each and totaled.

If a given stock is trading lower than the previous day’s close at one point during the trading day it would be counted in the DIND.Z calculation. If that stock moved to where it was now higher than yesterday’s close, all of its dollar volume (current price X volume in thousands) would now be part of the DINA.Z stat.
