Actually, I did shut down firewall and verified it was not running at all by running Task Manager and checking that it was not running. I also set ZoneAlaram to ask me to manually set what to do with any program trying to run. Will send you the debug log.
Completely disable all firewalls but did not work. The pop-up log-in window does not even come up. I installed 5.2.0.10 on a Windows 7 machine with ZoneAlarm and it worked without any issues. It seems the problem is confined to Windows 10. I even set all the programs in IQFeed folder to run in WIndows 7 compatiability mode but it still did not work.
I thought that may be problem so completely disabled firewall so it was not even running but still had same problem. The firewall I use is ZoneAlarm. Put in a snooze, but still had problem. Set all the programs in IQFeed directory to super users with open incoming and outgoing and opened ports 5000-5050 and 60000-60050, but still had problem. Also verified that Windows Defender was off.
I have been hesitating upgrading from last version that worked well for me which was 5.0.0.14. Today I installed 5.2.1.0 and it will not even connect for me. When I run diagnostics.exe it hangs on Register Application and does not progress beyond that point. I can reinstall 5.0.0.14 and it works fine with its diagnostics.exe completing without problem.

OK, now at 9:00am EST the 12-03-2012 EOD data for GOOG1207L705 is there. What is going on?
This morning at 8:23am the symbol GOOG1207L705 has no data for 12-3-2012.
Most of the *.Z type symbols were not downloading today's data but appears to be downloading some of them within the past 30 minutes. I guess real question is when can we be sure EOD data is available. Is it 9:00PM or midnight EST?
OK, I guess program I have been using for 4 years to download the data just quit working for 2 hours and then all the sudden started working again. Go figure!
Well it appears to be working now. What was problem and is all data now available?
