This is to advise that the current continuation data does not update the #.d files of ensignwindows software program when used with the DTNIQ web feed. This is for both the main futures charts and the mini contracts as well. I was advised by customer service is method of delivering continuation data was supposed to be on a trial basis. I must emphasize that the above has been going on for months and has caused me to spend many hours weekly rebuilding the continuation files for all three, daily, weekly and monthly and is totally unacceptable. I have talked to Ensign Software people about this and have suggested that they block your continuation data and revert to using the data that is provided for the root contracts and build the daily, weekly and monthly continuation charts from them. This would be simpler and reduce network traffic on the internet. The current practice is harming many people, the customer who is relying on accurate data, the software vendor, and yourselves leading to a poor image. I hope that you, your developers, plus Ensign can get together and solve this problem quickly and make everyone happy. Sincerely

Our continuous contracts for daily data is still in the process of being developed and is now part of a larger historical system upgrade. Intraday charts should be good, but the daily continuation data is not yet available (which is why the data looks bad). You can get a good daily chart, but only for the actual contract month. We do have full continous charting capability in our ProphetX product line however.
