Hello,

I have downloaded the available list of symbols from DTN (296,000+).

I have found the Dow (INDU.X). However, I have yet to find the other common ones such as:

NASDAQ
S&P500
FTSE
CAC40
DAX

I need help in identifying all of the major world market indices.

Thanks

Anil

ftii.x is not the FTSE 100 or the All Share. It is the 250 which is not a particularly meaningful index.

Does anyone know what the 100 and/or the All Share are, please.

They are not evident on the symbol look up on this site.

Tony,

The FTSE 100 and All Shares are fee liable for real time data. Since we only had one user who was watching those indexes, we terminated our agreement to carry them in real time. We are looking at adding them back in with delayed data however. I will post more information when I have a better timeline available. You can access the Futures on the Index (LFZ5), or use FIY.X which will provide the FTSE 100 with a single EOD update each day.

Thanks, Jay,

I tried FIY.X and could only see the EOD figure.

I don't really need the info as I have it on my UK feeds. It would simply have been handy to include the symbol in my QuoteTracker portfolio to reduce the number of windows open.

Having just had to re-code the QuoteTracker display to show upward moving figures in Blue (as we do in the Old World) instead of your green I surmised that not a lot of UK investors are using your (compared with our) splendid services.
