"I just wanted to say how happy I am with your service. I was able to download the API docs last week and I was able to replicate Interactive Brokers historical bar queries and realtime bar queries over the weekend. That was about one of the fastest integrations that I've ever done and it works perfectly!!!!" - Comment from Jason via Email

The mktsymobls.txt file is missing significant blocks of symbols. NMS is completely gone. AMEX is down to 289 from 1467 symbols. OTC and OTCBB are completely missing. NYSE is down to 1401 from 5054. etc.

I managed to not save an earlier zip file so I can't revert back.

When would it be possible to have the fixed data in place?. It is an integral part of my explorations, and could use a new fixed copy soon.

Anyone with a recent full version they could send to me?

Thanx.

We will have to dig into this tomorrow. Just curious, do you normally use this file on Sunday. The process that builds this file runs nightly, and it is possible that the database on sunday has been cleared and didn't have a full refresh by the time the file was built. That would help us track down the particular issue today. Hopefully the process will run again tonight and will produce a clean file for you.

Is there a best time to run it? Depending upon how energetic I am, I'll do it Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in preparation for Monday.

Thanx for your quick reply. I did manage to find my previous one in my deleted items so I'm not quite as bad off as I thought.

I can't recall when the files are built, but I think it was sometime early in the morning. I will confirm when the processes run tomorrow and let you know so you can adjust accordingly.

Jay - can you post the update schedule for this file? I, too, noticed that OPRA symbols were missing at 7pm CST on Friday, and were still missing on Saturday.

A suggested improvement to the process would be for DTN to replace the file only after a full rebuild (so a partial file is never publicly available).

Thank You-
Scott

Dear Scott,
Thank you for the suggestion. Jay is out of the office this week but when he returns we will look into the the resolution to this issue, and get the schedule posted for you.
Thanks
Mike
