I've asked this question before, and have never gotten a real answer.

It's simple:

What are the "market hours" for the various Forex feeds IQfeed offers (Barclays, Tullet, Hotspot)?

I know, I know: forex is traded 24 hours, mostly... but it is the *mostly* I am interested in.

When, for example, does Barclays start transmitting real bid/asks on Sunday night? 5 pm EST? 7 pm EST? 8pm EST? I have tried to 'watch' the various feeds to see, but can't be certain.

Since I am a gnat on Barclay's butt, whereas (presumably) DTN has a little more weight with its feed providers, maybe someone can tell me the answer to these questions: When on Sunday night do the various feeds go live? (And does the start vary by feed provider or by forex pair?)

Thanks - Matthew

I'm sort of hoping someone at IQFeed might take an interest in this question. And, more than that, answer it.

Ten days have passed since I posted it. If this is not the appropriate place to ask this question, or the answer is simply "unknowable", then please tell me that, as well.

Thanks...

Matthew

i think it depends on the charting package.i use quotetracker with iq feed.iq seems to be transmitting quotes and backfill all the time.it just dpends on the charting package to filter out the time interval.this is my way of thinking.hope it helps
also on iq which is invaluable for forex trading is
eurobund future
10 year t bonds
crude futures and gold futures
all these should be looked at on a daily basis just to make sure there are no panic situations in the markets that will affect forex.
on the basic iq feed, these are delayed 30 mins.but that is more than adequate

Ask your Forex broker if you have one as well.
