Hi,

I am playing with the Console Stream application. It looks like when RegisterClientApp is called, a dialog box pops up asking me to connect. Is there any way to automatically connect without my having to click on a dialog box?

Also, is it possible that connection between IQConnect.Exe and the IQ Feed server gets disconnected? Can my application sense this? How can it recover?

Thanks,
Geoffrey

Hi,

This is an important issue. Every time the network connection breaks, IQConnect.exe dies and there is no way to recover automatically.

Any hint what to do?

We're working on a new IQFeed release to address a multitude of problems including the ones you mention with reconnecting.

1. Popup box when connecting - you will be able to directly login. This may not make it into the next release due to some exchange requirments that need to be addressed but it is on our list.

2. The next release should handle reconnects in the background better.
