When I run Investor R/T (on OSX), I don't see any background IQconnector or IQfeed process running... is it possible to have one's application run but not also run the IQFeed/IQConnector process? It seems like it must be, but I'm looking for documentation on how to do that.

Thanks!

J

Good evening,

What you are looking for is not part of our API. If you would like to be able to pull in data, like that NXCore may be the way for you to go, though I am not terribly familiar with it. If you contact our sales team in the morning, they would be able to get you the details.

Tim

Good evening Tim.

I'm confused then: How does Investor R/T use my IqFeed subscription without running IQfeed.app or IQConnector.exe?

Thanks.

Jason

Investor RT has built there own internal client to connect to IQ Feed when using OSX or a MAC operating system.

They are the only 3rd party licensed software that does not require the IQ Client when operating off a MAC platform.
