I get daily history for EURUSD.FXCM going back to 5/11/1993. EURUSD.COMP gives daily history back to 1/1/1999 (date of EURO creation). What is the 1993-1998 data that FXCM is showing since the EURO wasn't around then?

Hello Chud,

The EURUSD.FXCM data that predates the actual start date of the Euro is derived data that was created by and provided by FXCM. This data was derived from the currencies that would eventually be delisted and replaced by the Euro. Thanks for asking.
