I noticed that IQfeed added ability to request (n)Second bars. This is a long awaited feature and I really appreciated!

However, it looks like the second history data only go back to 1/6/2012? Is it possible to add more data? This is so critical to my back-test.

The second bars are built from tick data by the servers at the time the request is made so they are limited to the same availablity as tick data (120 days outside market hours, 8 days during market hours). It is possible that we will add more data down the road but we do not have any concrete plans to do so at this time.

It would be great to add more second bars date - even just 365 days.

I'm using the second bar to do the backtest, and I'm not confident of using only 120 days data. So it will be really help to have more data.
