Hello

I have the following problem:
* I am registered for a trial and subscribed to news sources: REUTERS_BASE, REUTERS_PREM
* However, when I run TCP/IP query:
SN:MSFT::1:20100101-20100324:1000000000;
I get a bunch of news, but none of them contains RB* or RP* as a source (ie Retuers)
* Otherwise IQFeed TCP/IP news api works fine
* Any ideas what causes this?

Thanks

Hello, at this time we do not create the symbol tags for news feeds. We simply index the symbols that the provider has tagged with each story. It looks like our Reuters news feed provider is not tagging symbols.

Just to add, the Reuters feed you are receiving is a Commodity news wire, not an equity news wire. This is another reason we don't have stock symbols indexed in the feed. For premium equity news, I would suggest looking at Midnight Trader, flyonthewall or Marke****ch. These are all indexed with stock symbols as provided by the wire.
