I'm looking to integrate the XML futures feed into a client's ASP.NET site. The intent is to plot a custom graph of the analysis of this data in real time. Does anyone know the intended use of the XML data? Is there a Web Component that can be used in an ASP.NET application to provide real-time feed/display?

I need to count X number of ticks and perform an analysis at the xth tick. I need to know the precise time of each tick. Therefore, creating a conventional ASP.NET application and having the browser self-refresh on a timed interval and fetch the data at that point will not do.

What I'm trying to determine is how to have the data push the appilcation, or at least analyze a constant stream, without having to build a client application.

Has anyone else experience/advice on building an ASP.NET application to perform this task?

Thanks,

Stephen

There are a few issues here.

1) we don't provide XML data with IQFeed. XML is too bulky to use for streaming data.
2) We do have an XML snapshot service called FinWin (www.finwin.com) which will allow you to request data to chart, but it isn't real time and isn't streaming.
3) Putting Real Time data on a website would cost many thousands of dollars per month in exchange fees.
4) An IQFeed subscription provides no redistribution rights. Thus, you cannot use IQFeed to post data to a website. We sell re-distributable feeds but they aren't $50/month

I would suggest taking a look at FinWin then contacting Prosales@dtn.com for pricing information.
