ivwright -Interested User- Posts: 3 Joined: Sep 7, 2007	Posted: Sep 7, 2007 04:38 AM Msg. 1 of 2 We are testing our quant system on historical data and the feed has been ok, but recently when we started testing it on live streaming data - there seems to be a preset ceiling of 10 symbols, as seen in the attached file with the relevant window. We need help to solve this problem ASAP - we need an unrestricted amount of sysmbols, limited only to bandwidth. If you are a registered API customer (www.iqfeed.net/dev), please check the documentation on the proper parameters to send when calling into IQFeed. Right now, you are sending IQFEED_DEMO, which limits you to 10 symbols and delayed data. IQFeed doesn't have a service with unrestricted symbols. IQFeed's basic service allows 500 symbols. We also don't allow users to scan the market throughout the data. Please take a look at the Quick Start guide available at www.iqfeed.net/dev for information. If you need a full broadcast datafeed with unlimited symbols, you will need our NxCore product. It is heavily used by Hedge funds, Quant and Black Box systems. It provides an extremely low latency feed over the internet.
