Hello, if I pull historical data for various strikes, i'm getting "Invalid Symbol" on a fair amount of them.

for example: AAPL1431J86, I'm confused as to why that is - the symbols exist in mktsymbolsv2 and are still valid contracts that haven't expired yet. I understand this example is deep otm, and there may not have been any trades on it, but shouldn't I get a "no data" response instead?

I'm sending:

HTD,AAPL1431J86,180,,,,1,,

Unfortunately no, the history servers will return invalid symbol if there was no data found within the requested timeframe. They will return no data if there was data available but the parameters of your request resulted in all of the data being ignored.
