The sectors:

SP500-10.X ... -55.X

are the 10 S&P sectors. It seems that the daily historical data only goes back about 2 years. Is there any reason we don't get more data than this?

Actually I just checked and it seems that the data is 2 years for:

SP500-15.X
SP500-20.X
SP500-25.X
SP500-30.X
SP500-45.X
SP500-50.X
SP500-55.X

There is more data for:

SP500-10.X
SP500-35.X
SP500-40.X

Most of The S&P Sector data symbols were acquired in 2012. We do have more data on the (SP500-10.X( the minute data goes back to 2010 and the daily data goes back to 2004)),
(SP500-35.X( the minute data goes back to 2011 and the daily data goes back to 2002)), (SP500-40.X( the minute data goes back to 2010 and the daily data goes back to 2004)).
The rest of the list that you sent goes back to 2012 for the intraday and daily.
