Are there any plans to add Hang Seng (HSI) futures?

We don't currently have plans to add HSI. We have a heafty list of exchanges we will be adding in the coming months (announcements coming soon as well), but HSI isn't on the short list currently.

I would second the request to add HSI futures. It is a heavily traded contract that we would love to trade but can't because we can't get it via DTNIQ.

Thanks jokerjoe; Currently HKFE is not scheduled for addition in IQFeed. We do review these opportunities to add content regularly and give priority to the content that adds the most value and subscriptions to IQFeed services. Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss.
Sincerely,

Have to use another datafeed I suppose. Which one for HSI futures and H-shares futures?

Their main competitor has such data.
Also I gather that various HK brokers can provide real-time data via DDE but not historical. Haven't tried them myself. Edited by jokerjoe on Mar 16, 2015 at 10:14 PM

I am familiar with SP but we require also programming a combination of indicators (total seven) prior to decide to call or put. There seem to be a lot of limitations unless one uses software like AmiBroker etc. This is the direction we plan now to fill that gap.
Any thoughts?

Just use SPTrader as a data source and use something else for whatever you need to calculate.
If you don't need accurate tick data then you could also Interactive Brokers for data. Edited by jokerjoe on Mar 16, 2015 at 11:51 PM

My thoughts exactly. However, it seems SP data cannot be used in AmiBroker. We hope our broker (W... F...) will come out with a good and workable DDE (as they plan) and we can make use of it. We can then still place the orders using SP.
