Msg. 1 of 4
Has anyone able to use the sample app on Win2008r2? I saw the other threads that said compile for the 32-bit target but that isn't working for me.
I can load up and run IQLink, but using the C Sharp sample app results in HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG). It is the same result whether I use the precompiled version or try to build it.
Thanks all!

vermontquant, well, the error itself is saying that IQFeedY (the only control that app uses) is not registered. I have seen that error being caused by trying to run from a 64bit app (or an app compiled for "Any CPU" on a 64bit OS) which is probably what you found on the forums. I have also seen it being caused by the control not being registered with the OS (regsvr32.exe).
However, with that said, I would actually recommend not using that example to start out. I have emailed you some C# socket examples to get you started. Let me know if you have additional questions (feel free to reply to that email if you would prefer).

Steve, is the current API sample code up to date (does it match the code you referred to in your message?)?
