The IQ log file size is increasing all the time during normal operation, looking into it I found only normal messages between the client and IQ, no error messages.

Is there a way to control what is written to the log file? just error messages maybe
Regards,
Karish

(I am using IQfeed 4.7.2.0 & Neoticker)

There are a few tweaks you can make to the logging, but the IQConnect Logging should only be used for troubleshooting purposes. We don't recommend enabling the IQFeed logs during normal operation for this exact reasons. We are working on enhancing the feed's logging capabilities in an upcomming version.

Thanks,
What is the method to disable it?

Open the IQFeed Diagnostics utility and switch the logging dropdown to "0 - No Logging". You don't need to run a test or anything else, just close the app and it will be shut off.

You can then go and delete the existing log file on your system and it won't be recreated.
