I can subscribe to the NYSE symbol 'F-S' via the streaming data interface command 'wF-S' and it all works fine (has done so for AGES). The symbol is searchable on Yahoo and traded yesterday. BUT, I can't get historical EOD data for it. The command 'HD,F-S,1' gives the ugly response: !ERROR! Invalid Symbol. Other historical data requests containing the '-' character work just fine. What on earth am I doing wrong? Regards, Dennis (I'm using the Java TCP/IP interface to 4.1, if that matters.)

It is currently treating this symbol as a spread. It is going to affect ANY symbol with a single character before and after a dash. The server team will look into this.

Currently I subscribe to EOD data from an increasingly erratic third-party provider, and was hoping to replace that subscription with EOD data from IQFeed. This has kind of put a spanner in my works - as you have indicated, I have now found other symbols to be affected as well. Was this a known bug? Do you have any idea of when it will be rectified?
