It sounds like "Day/Session" lines would be useful in this case.

For all new charts: File > Preferences > Charts > X-axis Select Day/Session Lines and check the box 'show'.

For existing charts: Right-click the x-axis, select X-Axis Properties Click Grid tab Select Day/Session Lines and check the box 'show'.

There is the option to turn on the Crosshairs for a chart which enables a separate dialog box similar to that of the cursor data box and does not fade.
* Right-click the chart * Mouse over Crosshair * Select 'Show Lines Only' or 'Show w/ Coord Boxes'.
Pivot Points are now available in version 3.6.

Quote: What's the nomenclature to be used if one wants to define a generic custom function based on any two stocks?
For example, something like:
(Close(SERIES1)-MOV(SERIES1,20))/(Close(SERIES2)-MOV(SERIES2,20))
That one would not work. How do I make ProphetX recognize that the numerator of the hypothetical expression shown above should involve the price of the first security being graphed in the chart, and that the denominator should involve the second one?
Thanks in advance folks.
Best,
Gus --- Original message by GUS_PAMPAS on May 20, 2009 08:18 PM Unfortunately there isn't a way to put two different series into a custom formula, however you can plug in a single series and a variable symbol in the equation.
(CLOSE(VARONE)-MOV(VARONE,20))/(CLOSE(SERIES)-MOV(SERIES,20))
Parameters Name Type Value
VARONE Text IBM
1) @LEQ9 displays in the Market Profile for me. What symbol are you using that doesn't display?
2) The session filter should look something like this
Mon 7:20 Mon 15:15 X Tue 7:20 Tue 15:15 X Wed 7:20 Wed 15:15 X Thu 7:20 Thu 15:15 X Fri 7:20 Fri 15:15 X
Once the filter has been created drag it to the chart to apply it.
What version of ProphetX are you using? (HELP > ABOUT PROPHETX > Build)
I am checking to see if there is a way to do what you are looking for.
Would it be possible for you to email your workbook to prophetx@dtn.com?
Also could you check your ProphetX client build? Click Help > About ProphetX
Thank you kindly!
