"Can I get another account from you? I am tired of ******* going down so often" - Comment from George
"Version 4.0.0.2 has been working well for me and I appreciate that it is now a much tighter client to work with. I feel I can go to press with my own application and rely on a stable platform" - Comment from David in IA.
"I ran your IQFeed DDE vs. my broker vs. a level II window for some slow-moving options. I would see the level II quote change, then your feed update instantaneously. My broker's DDE, however, would take as much as 30 seconds to update. I am not chasing milliseconds, but half a minute is unacceptable." - Comment from Rob
"I had always used ******* but for the past 2 weeks have been trying DTN IQFeed. Customer support has been extraordinary. They call just to make sure your problem hasn't recurred." - Comment from Public Forum

"Very impressed with the quality of your feed - ******* is a real donkey in comparison." - Comment from A.C. via Email

Data and Content Support » Canadian Stock Volume Discrepancy? Jul 10, 2010 06:56 AM (Total replies: 5)

The concept of "board lot" has been around on Canadian exchanges for years, and it's great that all those useless trades of 27 shares at $5 are automatically filtered out from eod data. They are often a nuisance when present in intraday data and may prematurely trigger indicator based stop, like ATR stop.

Non-board lot trades are entered by retirees selling stocks they got in employee stock purchase plans years back, by buy-and-hold investment clubs that purchase 1000 shares and divide them between 39 members, etc. This type of activity doesn't represent institutional price flow and can be safely ignored (and probably should be).

Data and Content Support » Pauses & slow data off the open? Apr 23, 2010 06:57 PM (Total replies: 3)

Sounds unusual. I use SierraChart and never had any problems (tick charts of @ES, @NQ, @YM, USO, UNG, COMPX.X, INDU.X, SPX.XO, TICK.Z) . IQFeed and TWS go hand in hand, news events included. There might be an occasional discrepancy one way or the other, but nothing serious (in sub-second range).

Data and Content Support » How to figure out which feeds are needed? Apr 23, 2010 06:46 PM (Total replies: 7)

@ES - CME (E-mini Service) - $30
@NQ - as above

@YM - CBOT (Mini Sized Futures) - $15

SPX.XO - CBOE Indexes - $4.50
OEX.XO - as above
RUT.XO
VIX.XO - as above

Data and Content Support » ESH0 or ESH10 Mar 7, 2010 01:20 AM (Total replies: 1)

What's the proper year code format for futures, according to your web page it's either "the last digit" or "the last two digits", depending where you look:

After reading this I set my symbols to:

@ESH0
@YMH0
@NQH0

and they have been working ok, but recently, by coincidence I scrolled down here:

Also, what's the code for next year, ESH1 or ESH11?

Here is the link to the web page on the screenshots:
