I looked at historical tick data for 2-3 stocks, bidSize and askSize always come back as 0s. I'm using HTT over TCP/IP. Is this expected?
I don't think this security restriction works, nor is it necessary. It's easy enough to setup a tcp/ip tunnel to bypass this. Perhaps it makes sense to allow access from any remote server, but only one connection.
I'm trying to access level 1 data from linux, it seems the easiest way would be to start IQConnect with the API on a windows machine and then connect to it at port 5009 from the linux machine. But so far IQConnect is refusing connection, can this be enabled?
