Hi, I am new to IQFeed and subscribed to the API. I have a basic question regarding the C# API. What is the latest .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET version that is supported ? I could find this information on the API doc website http://www.iqfeed.net/dev/api/docs/index.cfmWhen I looked at the downloadable Sample codes, the framework version is "v2.0" which is quite old. Thanks

Also, second question: my IQFeed apps (e.g. IQFeed SnapQuote) are running fine and are able to show me data. Question 2. If I want to use C# to download history data, can I be simply logged-in to IQFeed via one of the IQFeed apps (IQFeed SnapQuote), or do I need to Initialize the feed separately as per the information given here : http://www.iqfeed.net/dev/api/docs/InitializingTheFeed.cfm

1. You may use whatever version of the .NET framework you need, that is 2.0 or later. .You can also use .NET Core, but we do not currently provide code examples for that. The API feed is TCP socket based, so it is language agnostic.
2. We recommend your app always launches the feed manually every time it runs. This makes sure your app is properly registered with the feed, and ensures that your app "plays nice" with other apps on the system that are using the feed.
