h_dev -Interested User- Posts: 3 Joined: Nov 24, 2020	Posted: Dec 4, 2020 10:25 AM Msg. 1 of 8 Hello, I know that we can currently get the daily updated Market Symbols file from this link: http://www.iqfeed.net/symbolguide/index.cfm?symbolguide=lookup&displayaction=support§ion=guide&web=iqfeed It looks like the direct link to the file is this: http://www.dtniq.com/product/mktsymbols_v2.zip According to the page, this file is updated every day at around 6:05am Central Time. My question is, can I download the historical Symbols? For example, I want to get the file which would contain the Equity and Option Symbols from last month. Is there any way I can get this somewhere? Thank you.

Also, can you please explain more the content of the file? Looking at the EQUITY file it seems to contain the symbols that no longer exists. However, it seems like the last update was Aug. 15, 2019. Is there a more recent version?

The release date for the files is now approximately March 31st, 2021 for a complete update.
