When the ES opens on Sunday night that is for Monday's session. In this case you will find there is never a daily bar on a Sunday due to this. Recent Example: Daily Data OHLC 2019-06-10 2893.25 2905.75 2880.50 2889.25 2019-06-07 2840.00 2886.25 2838.00 2875.00 June 9th, 2019 was a Sunday and there is no corresponding daily data for this date.
