I see that ProphetX has what appears to be a good tool for creating synthetic symbols. I understand that this may not be what it's designed for but is it possible to build a synthetic symbol composed of 50 securities?
Thanks. Edited by indextrader on Mar 8, 2007 at 08:48 PM

Hello,
So just to make sure I understand the request, you want to have a symbol for use on a quote sheet as well as charting, that displays the average of 50 stocks for it's given values? Last = (Last.1; + Last.2; +.... Last.n) / n Open = (Open.1 + Open.2; +..... Open.n) / n
If so send me the list of 50 and I will give it a shot and if I can make it work I will send the workbook to your email. Edited by DTN_Tim Walter on Mar 9, 2007 at 08:08 AM
