The new product has the ability to tab both quote sheets and charts. I never use the chart tabbing because I keep two charts on each page and link them to all the symbols on my quote sheets so I keep the chart tabs hidden to save space on the screen.
I do use tabs in my quote sheets extensively. I have as many as 7 Tabs on a quote sheet. Every tab on both the charts and the quote sheet has an icon illustrating that it is a quote sheet or a chart tab.
These icons are both redundant and unnecessary and detract from the usefulness of the feature by taking up a lot of space, in some cases as much space on the tab as the name of the tab. Without the icons I could have several more tabs in each quote sheet window. The icons force the tabs to be larger and therefore crowd each other out making them unreadable.
In previous versions the tab feature 'tiered' itself placing the tabs on a second row if you had more tan a certain amount. What happened to that method of tabbing?
1) I suggest that you either get rid of the cutsy icons or make them a user option, though I can't imagin why anyone would ever choose to have the icons on all their tabs.
2) I also suggest that you bring back the tiering feature - or perhaps it is still available and I don't know how to use it. ???

RHBailin,
Sorry for taking so long to respond.
The little icons on each tab are something that was requested by other users. It is very useful for users who have a combination of tabbed charts, quote sheets and/or quoteboads on the same page. If users want to quickly look at a chart, they simply look at the tabs that show a chart icon and not at all the tabs contained on the page. I will make an enhancement request for your observation that there should be a global setting where the user can turn on and off the icons.
The self-arranging process for managing Quote sheets, Charts, Quote Boards and other display tools, specially the ability of displaying them in more then one row, is something that will be put back into our system in the future.
I hope I have answered all your questions,
Let us know if you need anything else,
Sincerely,
Ivan D. Nuñez
