Data and Content Support » Missing Symbols and Data Jul 11, 2015 12:50 PM (Total replies: 5)

I see - I did install the QGC#C but I found that the data did not match when I went back to January so I didn't go any further.

I just checked the QHG#C and it seems to match the old +HG#C so it may have been a reloading error on the +GC#C, but otherwise it doesn't seem to affect our results as it is a small difference. Regardless, may be something you want to check up on. Looks like it changes around January 28th, 2015 (in regards to the +GC and QGC not matching).

Cheers.

Forgot how to enter the #C. Figured that out but still missing anything after July 6th.

Data and Content Support » Missing Symbols and Data Jul 11, 2015 02:37 AM (Total replies: 5)

I was doing my usual week review and found that we are missing all data from July 6th to the 11th for +GC#C, +SI#C, +NG#C, +CL#C, and +HG#C.

I deleted cache and data and the +GC#C symbol to test out the issue - imagine my surprise when I try to add it again and it states that there is no such symbol...

Please help asap.
Cheers.

Data and Content Support » Back-adjusted future contract Aug 2, 2013 12:09 PM (Total replies: 6)

Good Video, thanks.

Why are the closing prices different though? there should be no reason for this as per the picture that I attached:

Hi LorenF,

I have been reading your reply over and over and I cannot seem to interpret what you are saying.

Lets say the old contract closed at 100 on the day before the roll and the new contract closed at 101 on the day before the roll.

So your formula is 101 - 100 = 1?

I don't get it, please expand your explanation.

Cheers, Mobiius.

thanks, but I'm looking for something at least 10 to 20 years previous to 1995.

Data and Content Support » Spot or Historical Gold and Silver Jul 22, 2013 11:26 PM (Total replies: 3)

Hi,

Is there any symbol, index, or ? that will produce a very long term daily chart of gold or silver that goes past 1995?

thanks.

Data and Content Support » Bad data point Mar 25, 2013 11:25 AM (Total replies: 4)

I am using +SI#C for the symbol. I cleared the cache and deleted all data, refreshed but it still showed up.

thanks.

Data and Content Support » Futures Options Mar 25, 2013 11:21 AM (Total replies: 4)

Hey LorenF,

I tried entering it though multicharts manually and there is no data.

I then searched the symbol lookup on your site with QCM for the search string under name/description or symbol but it says that no records exist.

I must be doing something wrong...

Data and Content Support » Futures Options Mar 25, 2013 12:01 AM (Total replies: 4)

Hello, new user and cannot easily find options on futures. In particular lets start with:

Crude oil (WTI) June 2013 Call - 120Strike.
There is about 30,000 open interest on this call and about 60 contracts traded on friday. I would like to find the symbol for this please.

As I am new I am just unfamiliar with the symbol structure so once I get this one I should be able to figure out others.

Cheers.

Data and Content Support » Bad data point Mar 24, 2013 10:58 PM (Total replies: 4)

Hello I am a new data user from Multicharts. There is a bad data point on the +SI#C 1 minute chart @ 12:13 on January 28th, 2013.

The high should be 30.86 not 33.84

Just figuring out if I want to switch data providers and found this error.

Thanks.
