Hi there
I am trying to download historical tick data for TF Russell 2000. The doc says 120 days is available, but I am not able to get it. For example, I tried ""HTT,@TFSM11,20110314 00:00:01,20110314 23:59:59,,,,1,,\r\n" and it comes back saying "Invalid Symbol". Does IQFeed provide expired contracts as well ?
Thanks! SG
Simple question, if someone could help. I am getting 1 minute OHLC bars and get data as below 5/1/2007 13:35 42.15 42.12 42.12 42.13 1130451 6200
Does the HLOC correspond to 13:35 to 13:36 or 13:34 to 13:35 ? I am guessing latter, but thought I would clarify. Thanks!
As far as I know, IQFeed does not provide historical ticks data (beyond 6 months). Are there any plans to provide these ? I think it would be very helpful for many. Even if they charge an extra fees for this, this is very helpful.
Thanks Jay. I didn't realize I needed a subscription for it. I thought what is referred to as 6E is available with basic subscription (I must admit I don't understand the differences very well)
Hi all
I am new to currency trading and would like to first look at some data. Can anyone please point me to the symbol for the following pairs ?
EUR/USD USD/JPY GBP/USD USD/CHF USD/CAD EUR/JPY AUD/USD ---------
It's a fundamental question, but may be someone who has it handy can assist. Thanks a lot!
Bear with a basic question, but I couldn't find it from the symbol list. I am looking for tick data corresponding to 6E/6A. What is the correct symbol ? Because I only see options related to it..Thanks!
Description is what I was looking for..sorry, should have checked a little more before posting...
Thanks
Does anyone know if I could get an description of the equity ? For example, I want to separate out 2x/3x ETFs such as TNA/TZA/FAS etc and wonder if there is a way to query it with IQFeed. Any ideas ?
Thanks!
Thanks much stargazer! Will check it out. I thought Uptick rule doesn't exist right now.
Hello
From the tick data, is there a way to know if the trade was a market order buy/sell or limit order ? We see the bid and ask at the time, but is there a sure way to tell if it was Market order (may be use if the trade price was same as bid or ask and figure ?) ? Thanks!
Steve, Sorry, yeah the data was not right, but I got the answer. Thanks!
This is a quick question on the timestamp. Consider, getting 1minute OHLC data as below ---- 2008-09-30 16:29:56,26.6000,100,104865900,26.6000,26.6100,2836662,0,0,E,<CR><LF> ----------------
Which interval does the data corresponding to timestamp 16:29:56 relate to ? Is it 16:29:56-16:30:56 or is it 16:28:56-16:29:56 ? I guess I don't if the timestamp is the start or end of OHLC bar ? Can you please clarify ? Thanks!
Steve - The sample you gave worked clean. Thanks!
How far does IQfeed data go with say 15 secs granularity ? I know tick data ia for 30 days, but how about seconds ? Thanks!
