If an invalid symbol is requested to the history module, can it return some kind of "wrong" value instead of not doing anything, and leaving to you rely on potentially incorrect timeouts? It would make things work much smoother/faster.

This will be handled in 2.3.0.4. You will see !ERROR! Symbol not found.
