mefTrader -Interested User- Posts: 32 Joined: Aug 19, 2010	Posted: May 11, 2012 05:10 AM Msg. 1 of 2 In Multicharts tried to pull the last 120 days / 3 /2 months of data for backtesting but I am getting the following message "Message: Not all of the required data has been obtained. Bar Magnifier mode will be disabled"? How far back can I get data for?
DTN_ToddH -DTN Guru- Posts: 287 Joined: Oct 6, 2011	Posted: May 11, 2012 07:45 AM Msg. 2 of 2 Hello mefTrader, I show that daily data in IQFeed for @TFS# goes back to April of 2002 and minute data goes back to September of 2007. All tick data in IQFeed is limited to 8 calendar days during market hours and 120 days after hours. If you are asking for minute or daily data in MC, you want to make sure that the box for "Build minute and daily bars based on tick data" is NOT checked so that you are not limited to tick data restraints. This is found in the Quote Manager under Tools > Data Sources > IQFeed > Settings > . You may also want help from Support at Multicharts to address the error message that you received. Thank you.
